Learn about:

• Mary Barr Lowry, a farmwife living on the Buffalo Road in 1813

• James Alexander Perry, 12–year-old Midshipman on the Lawrence during the Battle of Lake Erie

• Patrick Murphy, Civil War era Medal of Honor Recipient, and later Pilot of the Michigan

• Winnie Christiansen, the 8-year-old daughter of a fishing tug Captain in the 1920’s

• Henry Thompson, African-American crewman on the Michigan
